I am looking for my IM screen that used to pop up automatically & now i can't find it?

i am hearing the buzz as if someone is IM'ing me but i can't find my IM screen? to see if there is someone there???

  1. Try holding down alt and hitting tab. It should display any windows that should be open. If it's hidden somehow that could bring it up.
