  1. do you have names of children. do you know if they were adopted out of Buckners. do you know where Buckners is located? I assume it is closed.   2. The Dallas Buckner children's home still exists, in the same location, on the corner of Samuell Blvd and Buckner Blvd.  I drive by the location frequently.

    Last time I read any info on this one, they have an ACTIVE "alumni" association, which indicates that their records survive as well as encouragement of ongoing contact.

  3. There is a Buckners Children Home in Beaumont, Texas but I believe  it is not the only one.  In the 1940s the one in Beaumont was not called Buckner's.  It was considered a day care center that had live in children and was on Highland Avenue.
