I am looking for my brothers children who where placed in buckners children home in 1940s?

The Dallas Buckner children's home still exists, in the same location, on the corner of Samuell Blvd and Buckner Blvd.  I drive by the location frequently.

Last time I read any info on this one, they have an ACTIVE "alumni" association, which indicates that their records survive as well as encouragement of ongoing contact.

There is a Buckners Children Home in Beaumont, Texas but I believe  it is not the only one.  In the 1940s the one in Beaumont was not called Buckner's.  It was considered a day care center that had live in children and was on Highland Avenue.
