  1. I have a calender of O. Winston Link's night photography that I got for Christmas one year.  Here is a link to a museum in his honor.

  2. The best is O.Winston Link's classic on the Norfolk and western "Last steam railroad in America".Flash was only popular in the 1950's when color was just starting, until Harold Edgerton invented strobes in the 1960's;it seems Jacques Cousteau couldn't change them while using his diving saucer.Too deep. All the photos you,ve described were partially paid for by the railroads themselves. The Pennsylvania had a color one done along the edge of Horseshoe Curve,Near shenectady,NY(GE's Locomotive factory) in the 1950's.That one used over 1,000 flash bulbs.
