  1. Try Players Retreat (01702 391 961) on Station Road but there are two restaurants in the Pavilion.


  2. To be honest there are so many near the seafront that you can take your pick. Seeing as thought you will be in Southend why dont you have fish and chips - it always tastes nicer by the sea!
