  1. Check the housing office at the college or university you are studying at. They'll point you in the right direction.

    Good luck!

  2. It's best to find out through the educational institute you will be attending because there will be like-minded people.  Most of the universities and big colleges have accomodation services.

If your particular school doesn't, do what I did, and check the other schools around.  The room-mates may not be going to your school, but again, at least they're in a similar boat.

Check Ryerson, Seneca, York, etc.  Just find their websites, and do a bit of searching.  Eventually you'll find their accomodation services.

Failing that, you could always stay in a hostel or somewhere before moving into a place.  During that time you could put up messages on message boards around schools.

I wouldn't go for the big newspaper ads, because those are so general and just about anyone could answer.  You could easily end up with some total freak room-mate.

    Take care!

  3. I found a few shared accommodation ads when I was looking for an apartment on viewit.ca.  I would also try craigslist.org

  4. Do u wana rent a basement in toronto? leave ur tel & more info about urself if ur naser is yes

    Bathurst & steels near TTC

  5. My friend found a roommate in Toronto through http://www.roommates.com/ really quickly this summer. Good luck!
