I am looking for some ideas on decoration, food and costume for my 21st birthday mexican fiesta!?

Hi guys!

I am having a Mexican themed 21st simply because I love tacos and burritos and decided I wanted to have them served at my party. I am after some good drink recipes, some nifty decorations, and most importantly, I would like a nice costume. Seen as I will be the birthday girl I have to look the best! I was thinking something like Bandidas! Either Penelope or Salma, both wore pretty cool stuff but very different styles. Are they Mexican style or just movie style?? I like the one pen wears at start with the cowboy hat, ruffle top and skirt...

Also, anyone got any ideas on how to make little paper Sombreros as I wanted to incorporate them into my invitations, and have people bring them along as names on tables.

There will be about 40 people going, and it'll be in the backyard so I need decorations to sit on the tables and also to be around the yard!!!

Any ideas?? Thanks for your help! (sorry for all the questions guys!)

Definitely get a pinata!!! The guests will have a blast with that one. Also, if you go onto Orientaltrading.com they have a whole section on Mexican fiesta decorations, and I think that familyfun.com has ideas for a mexican fiesta party.

You could make these really neat blankets and hang them over the chairs.
