  1. I believe that every state has a 211 Help line. Just dial  211, it's a free call.

  2. The first place that I would look to is the Human

Services Division in your state or county.

If you have the Yellow Pages or the Internet

I would also look for Organizations that are

out their to help families in need.

Try the Salvation Army, Even some of the Mental

Health Services in your area, can or may direct

you to places that can help out with your Energy

    Bills, Your Rent, etc.

    Wish you well.

    Isaiah 65:6-20, Rev 21:3,4.

  3. Try the United Way chapter in your area.  They have a First Call For Help database www.211.org, that lists all of the social service agencies in a particular area.  If you go to the site, there's an option to search for the database or hotline in your area.

  4. Try United Way in your area.  They have a list of agencies that help people, they are all over the states.  Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, Luthern Ministries might be able to help also.

  5. Not sure where you are..but here its called 2 Rivers.. they help with low income families with their electric and gas bills.

  6. I wish you all the best!

    Hopefully this will help.

  7. Depends on where you are.  Different communities have different agencies/organizations.  I was a caseworker in Abilene, TX, and we used to keep what we called a "resource list" of different agencies who helped out with different things - utilities, food, clothing, medical - but in Atlanta, they don't seem to have that.  Contact me, tell me where you are, and I'll see what I can find out for you.
