I am looking for the best place in Australia to find work as a locksmith?

I am in the process of obtaining a visa and would like to know where would be the best place to find work and the nicest place to live with my wife and 2 young children any suggestions?

Brisbane.... the crime rate is pretty high, when people get a break in, the first thing they do is change the locks.

I would look up the Australian Yellow Pages www.yellowpages.com.au and check the number of locksmiths in different areas.  As for the nicest places to live?  Well - I am Australian - if it was me I would look for a nice climate so keep in mind that down south in Tasmania/ Victoria it is warm in summer/cool to cold in winter, while when you get up to the North (Queensland) it can be delightfully to very hot (and humid) in the wrong season. Then I would think if I wanted a big city (any state capital especially Melbourne wich offers the best quality city life at the price of congestion and shortage at the moment of rental properties, or Sydney with delightful harbourside living but high house prices) or large regional centres (eg Wangaratta or Traralgon, the Gold Coast, many more, or large country towns, or the country itself.  I would check out www.walkabout.com.au as it has an alphabetical listing of all towns and regions with wonderfull descriptions of each.
