Have you tried boardgamegeek.com? (NOT a commercial site, they don't sell anything.)  It has detailed listings for just about every game ever made.  There's a search feature on the front page, it gives 35 games whose title begins with "Mad", including 3 with "Mad Magazine", the most likely match for AlfREd E Neuman.
