Hello,

I am in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

I am looking for a 3 year old horse. Doesn't need to be trained because I can have it trained by a terrific trainer. It is not trained, therefor cheap.I need a horse to be over 15 but under 16 hands, so around that would be great, I would like a horse to be under 1000$.

And yes I can afford to keep it, My parents pay for it. I just have to BUY it. I am 12 years old and have been saving up for 3 summers. I now have enough to buy a horse ( under 1000$) pay for transportation, and have it trained.

I also have to sell the horse i have now, whom I am selling because I need a horse small enough to participate in the competition I have selected.

I f you think you might be interested in a big, lovable, patient, teddy bear of a horse, email me back. Or if you think you might know of somewhere where a horse is waiting for me, email me back,

thanks,

Bye bye now.:-)

  1. Go here, for both questions (selling your old horse, buying a new one)

    www.horsetopia.com

Post an ad for your old horse, and you'll find some great buyers.

Search the adds, and you can specify height, color, breed, price, training, gender, area you're in, and anything else.

    Best of luck!

  2. 1.really nice parents.

    2. i'd be intersted, but i dont have the money to transport the horse.

    3. it's good you know what you want. it also means you're going to have to take you're time, because what you want is out there, it just is going to take time to find it. start with local and work you're way out.  tack stores with flyers for horses are a great start. a trainer who knows/hears about horses for sale is another good start. then online, i'm sure others will posts tons of web sites.

good luck. dont forget the vet check.

  3. Just make sure you get a good forever home for your other pony first.

  4. honestly,i think you should buy a horse that's over the age of 7 and already trained.Even though you hav a good trainer, horses that young are very unpredictable and can be more dangerous than an older horse. You also won't be able 2 ride him/compete for a good amount of time....breaking & training a horse doesn't just happen in a couple weeks, its alot of work. And after you break him,you hav 2 work with him 4 an unknown amount of time 2 get him ready for competition.get an older horse who knows wat he's doing, you won't regret it! good luck!
