I am looking for this thing that is like an hour glass and lava lamp hybrid?

Like I said I am looking for this thing. I had one as a kid. it is made of plastic and way cylindrical. It is filled with a liquid and if you turn it over another colored liquid drops from above and goes around the sides down these steps and the drop to the bottom. I think it is and oil water mix.

Not sure what it's called but my sister picked one up at either Spencer's Gifts or Hot Topic in the mall.  I think it was hot topic.
