  2. Becoming self-employed in a work-from-home environment sounds easy but it requires both a time and financial commitment. In order to make money, sometimes you have to spend money. There are many ways to create income using a home computer and internet access, but you should do some research and investigate potential opportunities that come your way. Many companies will pay you to promote their stores and products on your blog or website and there are honest people who will train you how to do it when you purchase their program for a small fee (for less than $200.00). Just type "work from home opportunities" in your browser and you will see all the options available to you.

  3. You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

  4. would you be interested in writing?

You could setup a blog or website, this is completely free. Once you have added some good content, you can start to earn money from advertising. I know you wont make a huge income from this, but it would get you started working from home.

Pick a topic which you are very interested in, and write a piece on that everyday.

I've given step by step instructions on how to create a website for free, and then add adverts to it so you can start generating income.

Any questions please leave a comment on this blog.

I've also found some useful information on these blogs, it helps you to earn small amounts of money from data entry, surveys, receiving telephone calls, reading adverts in emails and online selling.

  5. There are wah jobs, home-based businesses, telecommuting positions, and more. You need to decide which type you are looking for, what interests you have, etc.

I have put together a Scam Resource page with several links related to avoiding work at home scams. I hope you'll find it helpful. Here is the link:

You'd also benefit from reading some reputable work-at-home forums/communities where people share about their own personal experiences--both good and bad. Some good forums are:

  6. they are mostly scams. A real work at home idea? Find an idea that you are passionate about and take it from there. Think about how sherri's berry's got it's start? Or you could always be a notary, or a paralegal, a lot of that can be taken care of from home.

  7. There are sales jobs that don't require you to pay.  One example is http://www.LegitCareerFromHome.com.  You do not have to have samples or inventory or anything like that.  You do have to be a customer (if you won't actually use the stuff, the company doesn't want you selling it).  Can you make actual money?  Yes you can.  It can be a little or a lot.  Up to you.

    Good luck!
