I am looking into buying a gps but I don't know which one is a better buy.?

There are two gps machines that i have in mind. one of them is from wal-mart(but it is sold in many stores). It is a garmin nuvi 200. It has a 3.5 screen. It is about $150 to $160 or something like that. The second one is from JCPenney. It is regularly 299.99 but on sale for $169.99 with a $40 rebate. It is an Invion GPS. It also has a 3.5 screen. Now i am not asking which one has a better price. I want to know which one is honestly the best one. I would also like to know which one is the best for the price. Thanks. Please give any personal experience that you may have using this device.

Go for the Garmin.  They have much better support and the software is more user friendly that the invion.

I have a garmin and it works well but i have heard from a friend (don't have to take my word on this) who talked to a cab driver about gps-es that said whether u get a tom-tom or a garmin they all do the same thing and their differences are insignificant so i would strongly urge going with the cheaper one
