I am looking into buying an iPod, and i was wondering if i should go with refurbed or new?

and i am also wondering if the refurbed ipods are as good as the new ones... please help

  1. That depends.

    Who is doing the refurb? is it someone trustworthy like Amazon.com or Buy.com? If it is a big name outfit, you have better odds of getting problems taken care of should there be a problem.  

    What kind of iPod? If it is one of the older ones, i wouldn't get a refurb because it has already had a long life and something else my go soon.  

    Finally, What is the Price Difference?  Is it 30 Bucks?  If the difference is any less than $30, I wouldn't go for it.  I would wait the extra week to get the money to buy a new on.  More than $50, I would almost certainly go for it.
