I've been wanting to buy a conversion van for a really long time. I think they are absolutely awesome for taking trips. I recently found one at a local used car dealership for extremely cheap which is what I need.
The thing is this will be my first car and I would hate to buy it and have it breakdown on me in the next couple of months because money will be very tight, that means if it breaks I will have no way of getting to work and I will be out of the money I bought the car for...until I get the money and fix it. I plan on taking the car to work (3 miles away) and college (10 miles away), to beach (20 miles away) and in spring time I am hoping to take trips involving 200-300 miles. I honestly only need the car to run without problems for at least one year, after that depending on its condition I will most likely buy a better one...but until then it has to run.
So I am posting the link of the van I am thinking of buying, it has the links to its CarFax report and everything on there. I know the miles are extremely high but if the owners took good care of it that shouldn't be a problem right?
So please take a look and let me know what you guys think. Any tips on buying a first car/conversion van, on its engine, accessories anything at all will be very very appreciated.
