yea it will have an NHl Silver sticker on it...buy it from the nhl web sit or a store that you know is legit and not shady.

It has a silver, shiny NHL sticker on it.  If you're afraid the store you're buying it at doesn't sell real ones, you should just get one on shop.nhl.com.  But stores generally have real ones, as long as it's not a shady store...Where you shouldn't be in anyway.

The authentic apparel will usually have an Official Licensed NHL tag on it.

Other then the NHL sticker/tag the jersey will also have a fight strap and the lettering will be multilayered and stitched fabric.  The replica jerseys have plastic lettering (with fake stitching screen printed on) that is heat pressed to the jersey and NOT stitched.

The new Reebok jerseys have that more sleek form fitting look to them. If it has a fight strap it's probably authentic,but those straps can be added to any replica jersey.

I have a Winter Classic Blue Malkin jersey and it had tags that read  RBK Center Ice Collection and the word Authenic in both French(Authentique) and English. Also the tag inside the jersey around the collar says Authentic On Ice Game Jersey and has the RBK insignia embroidered all around the inside of collar.Then it says (in French) Chandail Authentique

One last detail of mine is on the inside of the jersey by the fight strap there is an authenticity label that says NHL-Game worn jersey 2007-2008 season and has a code to show that its a LTD edition

I have an authentic Crosby jersey (new with NHL and RBK tags) that includes the Pittsburgh "250" logo patch.  Send me a message for the details.  Much less expensive than in the store.

It will have a shiny nhl sticker on it. As long as you don't buy it in da hood it should be legit.
