I am looking to buy a home in Riverside, ca. What r the nice, upscale areas there?

I would have to agree that Riverside isn't really known for being 'upscale' but there are some really nice parts of Riverside County like Temecula/Murrieta (many multi-million dollar homes), and Corona has some nice areas as well.  You'll want to stay away from areas like Moreno Valley and Perris.  Anyways, good luck!

You're mad. the traffic on the freeway is a nightmare count on an hour and a half to two hours in the morning and evening to get anywhere close to the city. Plus with the price of gas. it's a pretty penny. Not to mention that the houses are highly inflated out there and foreclosures aren't even a deal because people brought too high to begin with,

Canyon Crest & Jurupa Hills are the upscale areas...

if you want a nicer area but nearby...
