Who would you drop out of these choices:

- Jerry Porter (Jac WR)

or

- Kevin Walter (Hou WR)

I plan to pick up the Broncos defense as a sleeper choice to the Giants defense i midway through the draft. Thanks!

  1. yah with umeinyora down you may wanna pick up the broncos D. I would drop jerry porter. i think kevin walter is going to be houston's version of david patten, (lots of yards, maybe a decent total of tds). last i heard porter is having trouble with the schemes in jacksonville. good luck.

  2. I would drop Porter. Good luck in your draft.

  3. DROP PORTER

    he's out of his prime

  4. I can only hope Denver has improved their run defense. Last season they are absolutely atrocious against the run. That's not a good situation to be in when you're playing in the NFL. However, I do think they will be improved this year, and can definitely be perceived as a "sleeper" defense.

As for who to drop, I don't think it makes much of a difference. They are both average recievers. Walter had a great year last season, but that's when Andre Johnson was hurt. Houston has some other receivers as well.

Jacksonville's receiving situation is up in the air. They've got Reggie Williams (who led the team with 10 TD receptions last year) and Matt Jones along with Ernest Wilford. Marcedes Lewis at tight end will take away looks as well.

So all in all, I would probably drop Porter mainly because the Jaguars are primarily a running team and Williams will get the redzone looks.

  5. Keep Walter.  With A.Johnson constantly hurt Walter becomes the #1 and is having a good pre-season as well.  Den. def. will suck this year tho.   A better sleeper would be Jets.
