  1. For example in Cleveland, it will cost you about $1400 + tax/tip to get the limo for the night if your prom is on Friday or Saturday and $1000 for a Sun - Thurs prom. The hummer limo holds 25 people so that comes out to about $65 a person for the weekend prom and $40 a person during the week.

  2. Your best bet is to wait until about 4 months before the month of your event, then call around...It would seem to be a pretty safe bet that the over-sized limos (like Hummers, Expeditions and the like) are soon going to be a thing of the past ...Folks are more conscientious about fuel economy, regardless of the occasion...Unless these heavyweights can be converted to propane or another alternate fuel, they will not even be good for spare parts...Limo companies and owner-operators will not invest in a machine that will not return a profit...To answer your question, plan on at least $500 per hour with a 3-hour minimum plus perhaps a $750 security deposit/cleaning charge...If the rate comes up less than these figures, then you'll have some extra money.

As a back-up, look into chartering a small bus...Some a very nice and have video players...Plus, you can walk on and off instead of crawling in and out of a limo on your hands and knees.

    All the best.

  3. In Cheshire, a Hummer limo for a prom is £800, I enquired last year for my daughter, we ended up with  a Lincoln for £300.

Be advised that in the UK, despite their size, limo's can only legally carry eight passengers.

  4. ok   why a hummer?

my daughters prom is only 3 weeks away  she wanted a bently intercontinenal    she got one   cost a bottle of good malt (whiskey)  look around where you live find the car approach the owner and ask nicely   most people would be happy   well they are where i live

  5. Hummer's are really expensive! My school prom is next one and I quoted for one and it was about £600!

    Some are even more expensive!

  6. Wow... that's... unimaginitive and corny.
