  1. I am going to assume that you mean "anti-clotting agent". To add to all the other contributors; pyconogenol and/or grape seed extract (these two are very similar) and olive leaf extract are both fairly powerful and both are strongly antioxidant - which also helps the condition of your blood vessels.

I'd like also to add a caution. You may be looking for a natural alternative to anti-clotting agents like warfarin or aspirin; if that is the case I would advise you not to take any of these things with warfarin in particular, or to substitute for warfarin, without taking some qualified advice first.

You might end up either with excessive bleeding and/or a haemorrhagic stroke (if over-thinned) or some sort of problem (stroke, heart attack, pulmonary embolism, DVT) caused by clotting (if under-thinned). If you have a clotting problem, DON'T MESS ABOUT WITH IT!

However, if you not currently taking any drugs connected with this, then all the herbals so far suggested are safe if taken as suggested by the manufacturers.

  2. Flax Seed oil is a marvy one

  3. Fish oil, garlic oil, apple cider vinegar and others that you can find in a web search for "natural blood thinners".

  4. The following are well documented in the scientific literature to have anti-thrombotic and anti-platelet aggregation effects:

    1) Long-chain omega-3 fatty acids (fish oils, not flaxseed oil)

    2) Gamma-tocopherol and Tocotrienols - these are types of naturally occurring Vitamin E (not alpha-tocopherol - the form of vitamin E in most supplements).   These forms are available as supplements, usually described as "mixed tocopherols" and "mixed tocotrienols".

    Best wishes.

  5. It depends on what you mean by "thinning".... Are you wanting to dehydrate, or reduce platelet aggregation???

I suspect you want reduced platelet aggregation, and if so a common low dose aspirin or Ginko Biloba can do this for you.  If you are young, however, I would have a hard time coming up with a reason you should be doing this...

Good Luck and I Hope this Helps...

  6. rosemary, ginko biloba, ground flax, red wine, apple cider vinegar, salmon
