  1. My family lives in Cancun, They relocated there about 15yrs ago (from San Jose CA) and they love it , plus if you are bilingual you can find good jobs, Continental is looking for people to work there and they are bilingual, Good luck

  2. Guadalajara has the best weather in this Hemisphere and also has the largest AmeriKan ex-pat community.

Where you go depends on how good your Spanish is... if you can only talk AmeriKan then your choices are limited.

If you want to LEARN Spanish, then the Language School in San Miguel de Allende is world famous... there is also a lot of French spoken in San Miguel.

  3. BEST TWO PLACES TO MOVE IN MEXICO

    1.- AGUASCALIENTES

    2.- QUERETARO

    Im mexican

  4. Do you prefer beach or mountains?  Beach towns get pretty hot in the summer; mountain town temperatures stay pretty even.  You should travel around and see what towns you like.  Here are some towns I like:

    Beach towns:

    Cancun

    Playa del Carmen

    Puerto Vallarta

    Matzatlan

    Manzanillo

    Mountain Towns:

    Lake Chapala area

    Guadalajara

    San Miguel de Allende

    Oaxaca

    Guanajuato

  5. Ask around I seen in the news that Mexico is high in crime. Check first.

  6. Check out Guanajuato City in the state of Guanajuato.  You will fall in love with the colonial city.

  7. Monterrey is a good city. I'm from Monterrey and I know a lot of foreign people from Europe and they love the city. But Monterrey is too hot! and a little expensive... but is a really good city for living.

    Bye!

  8. Queretaro

  9. Depends on 3 major factors.  1.  What kind of weather do you like?...hot and humid, hot and dry, more moderate and medium humidity.  If you want to live anywhere near the beach on either coast , it will be hot and humid.  If you live in northern Mexico, it will be hot and dry.  if you live in a mountain area, the temp will be moderate and it will not be very humid.  2. Do you want to live where there are many other gringos...do you want to live where you can speak English all the time...or do you want to live where you are part of the Mexican community and culture, with maybe a few gringos around?  3.  Budget...are you on a tight budget, or is money not a problem?  If you are wealthy and want to live near many gringos, you may like Baja, San Miquel de Allende, or around Lake Chapala. ...or one of the beach resort areas.  If you want to live away from large numbers of gringos, and where prices will be much less, or you like more moderate weather...you would like a small town in a mountain area, small town near a big city is good for prices...and concenience. Choose your climate, gringo situation, price range, then look for a town in that bracket.  Many Mexican cities and towns have websites so you can do some research .  Then make a short list of possibilities and make a trip to visit those places.  I have put 3 Mexico talk groups below that you might like to check out for info.  there is also tons of info on retiring to Mexico avail on the web.
