and I want to know if anyone knows where i could buy a Kombi with the back converted into a camper. I have tried a few websites, but I am not having much luck. Also, if anyone could tell me whether it is likely that I will find bar work, I have plenty of experience, but I am only looking to stay in each town for a maximum of 2 weeks.

into an Australian only search I get lots of sites.

At some of the backpackers in Sydney people sometimes advertise a kombi or similar for sale before they go back to their country. Once your here you

should find something. You will be able to pick up work if you don't tell them your only staying 2 weeks.
