I am losing goldfish .They are nose driving to bottom and later turn dead.Please help/?

It may depend how big your tank is.  What are your water parameters (ph, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate)?  

Has your water temp been steady?  The nose dive seems to resemble swim bladder disease which is caused by temp fluctuations (fantails/moors very susceptible), add aquarium salt to the water (use recommended dosage on side).  If it isn't swim bladder, the salt won't hurt.  But like i said, ph, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate are usually guilty in fish deaths.

PS. tank size: 2-5 gallons per inch of goldfish as they are a deeper bodied fish.

maybe its a weird goldfish disease...maybe mad cow for goldfish or something....

answerer john n is probably right. goldfish are not tropical fish so they probably don't like warm water, I'm guessing. and the reason they are going to the bottom is because warm air/water rises, and they are trying to get to the cold water. if your fish is by a window, move it. if they are under a lamp, move them. put them in a room where it is usually dark, but not freezing, a place where you dont need to turn up the AC, and a place where you dont need tp put on a sweater.

Do you have an aerator in the tank or bowl.  They could be suffocating from lack of diluted oxygen in the water.

Buy a Ph test kit or get ur water tested at ur local pet store(if they do that.) Check ur water temp. They need 64 f- 72 F. Also see if any of the employees at the pet store have any suggestions. What chemicals are you putting in? that could have hurt them to.

the water is probably wayy to hot or cold get a water thermometer and check the water temp it should be around 74 f

and if there going towards the bottom its probably too hot
