  1. The first two options above will work but they leave you open if someone gets ahold of your gadgets.  Your best bet is to choose numbers from dates or other things that you already have on file (birthdays, account numbers, etc.)  Mix and match these together with nicknames you have or things you like and you'll be set.

Scott N also has a great idea but as soon as someone figures out your "code" they'll be able to go through all of your accounts.  Normally I would say it's no big deal because there are so many other people in the world hackers want to mess around with, but I've been a victim of online identity fraud and the guy got ahold of 3-4 accounts with 2 separate passwords and started going around talking to people acting like me.

I still, to this day, have no idea who the person was.. and this was 5 years ago.

  2. Write them down on a PDA or e-mail all of them to yourself

  3. hmm... well better you try to remember it ...

if you can't then , write them on a paper ... because i think storing in on HDD or in Email ... is not safe , because anyone can access those information easily ... ( don't trust me ?? have you ever thought how google have text based ads relative to your emails ?? )

so .. all i can recommend is to write on a paper and keep in pocket .. or somewhere more safer place ..

  4. Download Roboform.

    www.roboform.com

    Or try keepass

    http://keepass.info/

  5. Always use the same system to remember them. I always use the first 3 letters of the site/business combined with the same tail added. For example. for Yahoo use YAH with your tail like 1234 for a password of YAH1234. Or for Google GOO1234.
