I am mailing a letter from VA to ON, how many days does it take?

I have been looking, but I need a letter to ARRIVE on August 18th, in Ontario (canada), so I need to know what day to send it. PLEASE help!

Send it today or tomorrow and it should get there in time. you can put it on express if it's that important, it gets there in one or two days then. usually its 4 or 5 days i think , but im not sure.

To be honest, if you need the letter to arrive on August 18, you should have mailed it today at the latest.  7 - 10 days is the norm for international mail.  VA to ON would take about a week.  Drop in mailbox on 11... picked up on 12... sent to sorting facility... shipped to Ontario sorting facility (in transit via truck at least one day)... possibly delivered on 15, but more likely on 18.

You might still get lucky of you mail it on the 12th.
