I am making a dichotomous key for a biology assignment, and i am not sure what features of plants and flowers?

to classify into the species'. i only need 4 plants and/or flowers to classify.

I would choose four tree leaves, like an oak, a birch, etc.  And then use the shape of the leaves for your key.

For example, your first question could be:

Are the leaves simple or compound.

Simple . . . . . . go to 2

Compound . . . go to 3

And then you could use subsequent questions about whether the leaf margins are smooth or toothed.  Are the leaves lobed or not, etc.
