I have made beautiful candles and I thought I could find fountains made of the shells on the internet, but no luck. Any ideas?

  1. Try using a water proof plastic pan or bucket. Cut it down to the size and shape that you want. Place the water intake in the pan according to the instruction on the pump kit. Use a shell to camouflage the pump.

Then cover it with broken Abolone or other shells and stones.

On the back of the "bowl" place one of the larger shells as a kind of base. For support you can use the pieces you cut from the plastic to build a stand for the shell. From there you can build up to the top with smaller ones. Just make sure that they are pointing at a slight downward angle.

On the top shell, drill out a small notch that will fit the water tube. And place a smaller abalone shell over the top of it, so that the tube is hidden.

You can either place the shells so that the water falls out of the small holes in the back of the shell were the joint was, or so that it falls out of the front tip of the shell.
