  1. Delhi is full of schools. Still I like to advice you to choose Dwarka  for your stay. Reason its a new colony. Everything is well planned. Airport is quite close to it. Metro service is there to connect you almost every part of the city. You just need sufficient money to look for Purchasing/renting house a bit of donation for getting your child admitted in a school rest is fine.

  2. That is great

  3. Hi,

Welcome to India.First thing is that where is your office located? In all probabilities it will be in Gurgaon as most MNC 's and IT 's have there offices here. If it is so then it is better to stay in Gurgaon because commuting from Delhi to Gurgaon daily in the morning and going back in the evening is a 2hours job each side. In case you choose to stay  in Gurgaon and office in Delhi then also it is better because it is opposite traffic flow in morning and evening as well and you will take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending upon location. Airport is near to Gurgaon .You can get all the schools in Gurgaon which are in Delhi like -Delhi Public School, and many more. In gurgaon you can get a house on rent in a decent apartment with power backup and 24 hour water supply between Rs 16000 upwards (3 bed room) .Please note that always ensure power supply and water as in most part of Delhi this is problem ,but in Gurgaon ,the apartments have this all. You can can contact me if you wish at my email too. When are you planning to come as the schools in Delhi /NRC (National Capital Region) starts from July and vacations starts from Mid may. During this season getting house on rent is also easy as lot of shiftings take place. Hope it will be fine.

Based on your feed back please note that In india most schools follow CBSC (CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION ).There are few schools which follow UK pattern (ICSC).You can choose from this. CBSC has Hindi compulsory.

  4. Your question can be best answered if you may state the following:

Address of your office, your accomodation requirement &your rental budget.

  5. i agree with shailesh b and the best school is mount carmel in dwarka they have many foreigners studing there.

  6. South Delhi is the best place to stay for you. And you have a wide choice from Greater Kailas I and II to South Extension, SDA , Panchsheel and others.

Plenty of schools to chose from but admission is always a problem here. Session has started.

All good schools are accessible. The International schools are in Diplomatic Enclave.

  7. Welcome to India,

Pls let me know your office area, whether it is in delhi or NCR.

If it is in Delhi, you can stay at Patpargunj at East Delhi. Here you can have 2 - 3 Bedroom flats ranging 10000 to 18000 in societies. This area is very closer to central Delhi. Overthen you can enjoy the great culture, tradition and food of delhi.

Delhi Public School is also very close within 5 km distance.

And if your office is in NCR, say in Gurgaon, would suggest you to stay in Gurgoan only. Because from delhi to gurgaon is 90 to 120 minutes one side distance, this would not suits you. In gurgaon you can also have very good accomodation and school for your daughter. Domestic and international airport is also close to Gurgaon.

The only problem that you might have in gurgaon, you must have your own conveyance to commut for day to day needs. Very soon you can also enjoy metro travel in gurgaon by 2010.

If you wanna to put in Delhi while working in gurgaon, you can stay at Dwarka. Dwarka is newly established society, well cleaned and connected to rest of delhi by road / metro.

If you forward your office address, it will be easy to suggest you better.

But one thing i must say, wherever you stay, you will definitely enjoy the rich and great culture of india.
