  1. Of course not, no breed of dog can become pilots, since they have no opposing thumb.

You do type well though, you must keep your nails trimmed so they don't slide off the keyboard.

  2. well, that could be problematic

  3. unless you join the air force you will need lots of school qualifications before being accepted into university to study, science, chemistry, English maths etc. Unless you can afford to pay for your own flying lessons and licence?

  4. ur nationality shouldn't determine whether or not u can get a job

  5. Prop ably the best way is to go to either one of the two flight schools in Malta. Either the European Pilot Academy or the Malta school of flying. I recommend the first one. The training is a bit expensive though. Here is EPA's site

If you find further difficulties, e mail me. I'm currently living in Malta.

  6. What difference does your nationality have to do with anything?

  7. The easiest way is to join the air force.  I am not sure that Malta has one, but if so then they will pay for all your training.

Failing that, you could join a commercial airline.  There is a lot of competition for this and they tend to use pilots with experience already (i.e. via the air force route).  Try Air Malta, but you should have no problems in working for another European airline.

Finally, because of the competition, make sure your spelling is correct on any application, otherwise no one will want you to beomce a pilot.

  8. Sure.  Qualify as a commercial pilot, get experience on propeller planes, then hire on with a corporation, charter company, or airline that operates jets.

  9. yes, you can do the commercial pilot course, instrument rating and then ATPL course and licence. You also need to build up a minimum of 1,500 hours flying time and then you can apply for a job with an airline like Air Malta.

If you want to be a military jet pilot you will need to apply to the Maltese air force, assuming there is one, and assuming it has jet planes.
