I have PCOS. I am on my first round of clomid 50mg. Right now I am day 16. I bought first reponse ovulation predictor kit. I have been testing every morning at about 8. Well yesterday I tested at 10:30 and i got a postive. I was super excited. Then I ran an errand and tested again at about 1:30, I got a negative. I was scared that I missed my window. This morning I woke up and tested again at 8 am and I got a postive. What is going on????

Side Note: I bd with my husband on day 13,14, and 15 (but 14 and 15 there wasn't a lot of sperm). What do you think my chances are? You think maybe one could of made it. Sorry just so confused. Please answer with your clomid experiences.

  1. first morning urine is the most concentrated so you will pick up a larger amount of hormone than testing later in the day.

testing twice a day to make sure you catch the surge is fine but not using fmu.

It is usually advised to test at the same time everyday till you get a positive then stop testing.

  2. the clear blue easy ovulation test have the highest accuracy rates according to consumer reports.  once you detect your surge then you should be good.  you don't have to keep testing.  I'm sure you didn't miss your window.  you should buy instead soft cups to keep the sperm in after ejaculation.  also preseed is awesome too.  it's good that you had sperm in you before you hit your surge and after.  i would keep going LOL  good luck to you. oh and they say every other day so he can build up his sperm.  he also should be taking a good vitamin(liquid is the best) and eating a lot of protein and if possible b-12 shots are awesome with sperm mobility.  TONS OF BABY DUST TO YOU AND HUBBY!!!
