seem reasonable? I have a couch that I paid $400 for three years ago. It is still in nice shape. I was thinking $150? A new, hardly used sewing machine, $75? An old but still working washer and dryer, fine except you must be very careful not to overload, or it gets unbalanced and overheats, $75 for the set? A nice grill with attached smoker, it was $200 new last year, $75? Am I charging too much? Not enough? I am in the North East U.S. Thanks!!!!!

  1. Those prices do seem reasonable. Is the couch from a smoking or non smoking home? How much did you pay for the sewing machine? I think people would pay those prices. You could go a tad higher and then let whoever wants to buy it offer you $ whatever. Like ask $175 for the couch and when they offer $150 they will think they are getting a better deal and you get what you wanted from it.

  2. It all depends on how well the economy is doing, If people are moving in and out of your area then it will be hard to get a good price, because they spent there money on moving, If somebody is enjoying a little extra cash flow, then yes you are on the right track, either way ask your price and then if they think it is to high(9 0f 10 will) then ask them what they think would be a good price and go from there, you want as many people at your house as you can at one time, this creates a buying zone,  Post a sign that you are donating a % of the money raised for a cuase so you can get more money for the item.

  3. Usually they sell at 50% to 65% if they are in good condition. Try listing the retail price and let the buyer come and see and give you an offer. good luck

  4. Every price is perfect. But i would say the grill w/ smoker should be at least $100.00 because $75.00 to sell it when it way $200.00 last year is a little too cheap. Otherwise, everything is perfect to me.
