I am moving into an apartment with my son and boyfriend and I am looking for ways to save

on my gas and electric bills. Please give me some input. For example, does it use more electricity if you use a ceiling light than a lamp, etc.

The bulb determines the electric use.  100 watt bulb is more expensive than 25 watt bulb.   It's the big costs that eat you up.  Cable tv $25. Phone $35.  Electric $80  Renters insurance $18 a month.  It will all work out. /

Switch all the bulbs to compact fluorescent. They use a lot less than a standard bulb.
