I have already applied for the export permit from Singapore... Rabbis vaccination has been done. My pet is healthy. Reserved a seat with air france for my dog...

I was told by the lady from the french embassy that once AVA has signed the final document...10-7 days before departure... my dog can enter France. Is this true? Or do I need any import permit from France?

  1. As far as I know this is true, but it's worth double checking again with both the embassy, the airline and your vet just in case.

  2. It always worth a double check and you can probably get the information on line.  I would certainly establish if a 'chip' is required for entry.  If it is; all the time in the world won't fix the problem if you don't have it.  It is required in Singapore.
