I am moving to Guadalajara from Atlanta, Georgia?

On sepmtember with my sister (19)... Am (20)... and I was wondering what's life like outhere? ... I am of Mexican Descent, speak fluent spanish... I love starbucks, malls, running, going to the movies, not really into clubbing much, prefer bars, love soccer (Chivas)... what places could I go to? and it's traffic bad there? how about the police are they very strict?

the city is really big, its the second biggest city, why you moving to Guadalajara? lots of malls to shop at and bars to see the games and the liguilla :) traffic could get bad during rush hour, when i have gone to guadalajara the police is semi strict, but i don't live there, my family is from Lagos De Moreno, Jalisco, two hours away from Guadalajara, Plus you can go see the Chivas and Atlas and drink beer at the game! oh and the food is so good in jalisco! in guadalajara there is tortas ahogadas! and my favorite Tacos Al Pastor i miss the food

Traffic and air pollution are getting worse as more and more people get cars.  They're not really necessary because the bus system is great.

Many Tapatios have weekend homes in the Lake Chapala area, so they can get out of the city on the weekend.  You may want to check out that area.

Guadalajara is the most beautiful city in mexico, by the way i'm from "san luis potosi".

You will find the place more than Ok, there are plenty of american name franchises like Starbucks , there is a lot of malls and places to shop, there are some irish pubs, try the cervecerías in Patria Ave.

Traffic is big but if you are comming from Atlanta you will not feel that is too bad.

the Police is not as strict like in the USA , but don´t push your luck.
