I am looking to find a flat/house to rent in or around the area. Can anyone tell me where would be best and/or what and who are the best agents?

The best I can say to you is shop around they are all the same. If the letting agent smells a dope they will try and rob you. House prices in Irelnd are going through the floor at the moment and with them rents. In the past these guys as well as the real estate agents screwed anyone with a heart beat out of what they could in Ireland. They were probabley the main reason the house prices were super inflated, and they are hated, as a lot of people in Ireland are loosing a lot of money now, but I think their day is done. That isnt to say that the dying scorpion sons of ..... dont still have a sting in their tail. Best of luck of luck though
