I am moving to Lima Peru. Is diesel cheaper than gas. Are the more varieties of diesel car in peru.?

gasoline in peru is as expensive an everywhere else, from what i know people are converting cars so they run on natural gas since peru is filled up their noses with it,

the cost to convert the engine so it takes naturals is about    5 000 soles, so about $3000  but it's worth it.

Gas is cheaper than diesel, especially since Peru has the gas from the Camisea Reserves. You will be able to find more choices of diesel cars in Peru than you find in the US. For example, you'll find the Cherokee Liberty in Diesel (actually made in Europe) and most of the Hyundai cars will come in diesel .
