I have spent the last 6 years of my life planning and dreaming of a life that I would have in NY. (That's ever since we moved here.) And no, my parents are moving me to London! I am in my teen years, a critical time in my life, and ever since I was 4, I've wanted to go to NYU. Now if I wove to London, that's like taking my beloved city away from me. Any ideas on how I can cope with this? Please?... :(

  1. Fear not, you can still go to NYU.  I think you'll find London to be very much like NYC-- it's an international city with people from all over the world, subways, lots of culture, different food options and that lovely accent.

If you're already in your teens, it's not much longer before you can apply to college.  Make sure you keep your grades up, and start saving/applying for tuition assistance.  Once you're not a NY resident, it'll cost more.

Of all the places you could move, London is incredible, not only in its own right, but in its proximity to amazing historical, cultural and natural European locales. I promise you that NYC will be here waiting for you when you decide to return.

    Good luck!!!

  2. You are moving to one of the world's greatest cities with more style, culture, history, buildings, than you can ever visit in one lifetime...come over and enjoy...us Londoner's are really friendly!
