I am moving to Santa Maria California and I am trying to find a teaching job?

  1. Try to get in the Orcutt area.  Santa Maria has really bad test scores.  It's sad but true.  The problem is the language barrier between the kids and teachers.  In Orcutt the majority of the kids are english speaking.  whereas in Santa Maria most of the kids are from illegal immigrants that don't even know how to speak spanish.  

    Teaching in Santa Maria can be challenging, but being a teacher is challenging.  I wish you the best of luck.  Last time I checked, Miller School was hiring.  I could be wrong though.
