  1. The TV may soon not work. The systems are currently different and the US and Canada are converting to digital TV early next year. I doubt that the standard is the same as the UK.

    The XBOX is probably designed for UK TV and if you bring an existing TV it should work. You would need a voltage converter from 240 to 120 volts.
