I am moving to france and would like to take some of my plants from the garden and tubs. Would I be able to.?

The plants I wish to take are not listed on CITES, they are just cuttings etc I have been getting ready ie fucias etc.

  1. Go to your garden centre and speak to them and give them full details of the cuttings you want to take with you.  They should be able to guide you through the various correct channels.  The cuttings will have to be perfectly clear of any soil or fungus.


  2. that would almost certainly be alright. just so long as they're not illegal in france. traffic of food and live goods (plants or animals) is generally not restricted within the eu.
