I am moving to the states and purchasing a dirtbike or ATV and dont know what to get which one is better?

personally i like dirtbikes better because you get to control more than an atv. With atv's all you do is sit down, go, and change gears. And dirtbikes are way safer because if an atv falls on you it might break your back or spine because it weighs more, but with a dirtbike if you fall maybe you will break an armo or leg most of the time. Overall I think dirt bikes are way better and they are kind of cheaper to.
