I am nearing my 11th week. i am just curious?

my belly looks really big as of now. i have seen ladies who are in the same week as me who have real small tummies, what's the problem with mine? is there something to worry about? Pls help me. my thanks goes well in advance for all those who spare time for me.

If you are petite sometimes your stomach will get big which is normal for a small size person.  Another answer would be you could be having multiplies.  Most doctors give you an ultra sound around the 12th week to let you know if you are having only one child or multiplies.  Around the 5th to 6th month they will give you another ultrasound to let you know the s*x of the child.  Another answer is because you might be eating a lot already and you really need to watch your diet.  Most doctors only want you to gain about 4 pounds a month or 30-35 pounds over your pregnancy.  If you exercise do it moderately but do not over do it.  If you don't exercise go out for daily walks.

You could be having twins, u need to have an ultra sound at 12 weeks, so youll know then!

No there is nothing wrong with you.  You are probably bloated making your stomach more swollen than normal, this should clear up.  If you are still worried mention it at your next midwife appointment and i am sure they will put your mind at rest.

you could just be bloated. that is common in early pregnancy because at 11 weeks your baby is not that big and neither is your uterus. unless your having multiples, of course!

I like your first answer hehe. But on a serious note every women is different. When I was pregnant with my first I was always so much smaller than everyone else. When I was about 7 months everyone thought I was about 4 months and my baby was normal weight and size. I wouldn't worry about it at all, you could be just carrying more water. Also if this is your second or third pregnancy it's not uncommon at all to show earlier than someone going through there first pregnancy.
