I am new to Singapore...can anybody write me where people are celebrating National Day?

What are the pograms there in celebrations? I am staying in Serangon Ave 4..any celebrations near to my place?

i'm sure the grassroot ppl at your area are organizing something for the neighbourhood folks.  

check out the noticeboard at your block or nearest RC centre and u shld be able to get more info.

National Day is celebrated all over singapore. If u havent got a ticket to see it live then perhaps u can catch it on the television. Be assured that the evening spent on the tv is worth your moments. Perhaps, if u are lucky, U may be able to see the fireworks from your window at the later part of the night. Just remember, just being in singapore on National Day, will give you the feeling that u are part of the celebration
