When you babysit children under 3 for more than 5 hours for the first time, there's at least 50 questions to ask the parents. they are all including in the babysitters manual.

if you're under 14 and you're watching less than 3 children, charge 5 to 7 dollars. if you're 14-17 and watching more than 3 children, charge 7-9 dollars.

If the family is SUPER RICH charge10-12 dollars!

Baby's have a harder time holding their liquer

Given the chance babys will be chain smokers

If the baby is over five foot tall and spicifically

asks you to breast feed him ask for the birth cirtificate.

Some parents get a little peeved when you smoke and drink hard liquer in the house with the baby around so go out in the

front yard when you need a puff or a taste.

All young kids love to color.  If you go to google and type in coloring pages you can print some out.

Just make sure your always busy with the kids. Play games with them, make them up, do anything.

Rates depend on how many kids, what age, how long your there.

First and foremost - get emergency contact numbers for adults the parents say can help in a problem situation if you are unable to reach them.  Maybe a neighbor.  Then ask if there are any allergies and if so what is the best way to handle an allergy attack.  Get the nightly routine from the parents - ok foods to have, bath times, bed times.  How much tv is allowed, computer access.

Then make sure all the doors are locked when the parents leave - they have house keys for when they come home.  Make sure you always know where the phone is.

Then have fun - play games, watch fun tv shows.
