  1. You might be able to get a new Players Sneaky Pete for something like $50 (I think they're $30-something wholesale; if you can get in with the owner of a pool room he might be able to get you one for just that much-- 99% sure it's Players I'm thinking of).  Otherwise, no, I can't.  Much better off with a house cue with a good tip than some cheap fiberglass creation from Wal-Mart.  Also, sad to say, a lot of pool players need money.  If you hang around a pool room long enough, you'll stumble onto a good deal for a used cue.

Did you pay full retail for your sneaky pete, Johnny?  You're more resourceful than that :)  Or am I off on the wholesale price (dealer price is really what I mean)?  If not, your tip doubled your fishing pole's value :)

Hubby's got one he really likes, too.  Solid cue.

  2. I would have to say Players also....I have a Meucci Rev-2 as my main and I bought a Players that has artwork of Louis Royo on it as a break cue and I think I paid 80 for it but they have cheaper models...but I was actually impressed by the quality of the cue and I am very happy with it. If I was just starting out again in pool I would buy a Players....No point in paying a $1000.00 for a Meucci or any other cue until you know that you really enjoy the game that much and want to upgrade to a different and more expensive cue. In fact a good site to check out a lot of different cues and different prices go to http://www.pooldawg.com/. They got a nice selection from low end to high end cues and supplies.

  3. Lea you trying to lowgrade my fishing pole i paid $65 for it & $40 for the tip Ha Ha

But belive it or not Cuz try Pawn Shops you find a deal sometimes I bought a BA stick one time because the guy had never heard of it he had a Viking for $90 and sold me a Longoni for $45 belive it or not
