  1. If Ah Fayed believes that the monarchy is responsible for his son and Princess Diana's death, then his reasons for his claims against them are to bring about justice - which will, in turn, allow the victims to be at peace.  As ludicrous as his allegations may appear to be, if they are founded and he is telling the truth, then the wide-spread conspiracy which he accuses, would actually have been vital to pull it all off.  Unfortunately, if he is speaking the truth my faith in the justice system, regarding the monarchy and a fair trial, is shattered.  Al Fayed has less reason to lie than the monarchy does and at the very least, at a time when Princess Diana was causing the royals embarrassment, distress and anger, she died - and her death was convenient to say the least.

  2. The poor man is beside himself with grief. Anyway he has had his day in court now and it is for the court to decide the truth of the matter.

  3. He made me chuckle

  4. i cannot even imagine how I would react if I lost my son so I feel sorry for Mr. Al Fayed. I wish he could let them rest in peace. If he really believes it, of course he thinks he is fighting for justice..... But he's not really doing his cause much good by his ravings - - calling a reporter an MI6 operative if he's asked a question he doesnt like  - - it does not exactly inspire confidence in his grasp on reality.

  5. YES I AGREE. AL FAYED IS A BITTER/BITTER MAN

LET PRINCESS DIANA REST IN PEACE

AL FAYED IN MY OPINION IS A FRENZIED MEGO-MANIAC

  6. I loved his evidence. It was like the writers of Private Eye had written a script for him. I particularly loved him calling the BBC journalist an idiot who was working for MI6.

Another highlight was him saying that Burrell was "talking baloney things". Wonderful and well worth the £6 million it has cost us

  7. A man consumed by grief, with his own personal hatred and bitterness toward an institution of which he could not become a part by nature of the fact that he was not born into it.

Sadly, I think he believes everything he is saying... but he is making a spectacle of himself, and actually making people believe LESS in the conspiracy he so badly wants everyone to believe in, because of his ranting and raving.

  8. I think he did over step the mark and went off on one a bit unnecessarily  but he did lose his son, so you have to wonder if he has set his sight on the royal family as the cause/reason rather then the press. You know if the royals weren't the way they are, and Diana and Charles had never split up my son would still be alive type thinking.

  9. JUST ANOTHER CRAZY  M------LIM

  10. Wouldn't you be bitter if you lost one of your children, no matter how old that child was it is still a hard thing to deal with.

  11. GEMMA C thats a ridiculous racist comment and not at all helpful.  the guy lost his son, he's had his moment to vent, that was his right, end of arguement.  the courts wont make any life changing decisions, the question should be knowing the courts would always be swayed to protecting the monarchy was it worth the millions to re-live it all over again for everyone involved?

  12. I think he is walking in dangerous territory.  He could get done for heresy if that is really the way he has spoken about members of the Royal family!  I understand his grief, he has lost a son, but he wants a British Passport for goodness sake.  I should have thought  he would think twice before slagging off the Royal Family and making such slanderous claims.  I hope he does not suffer a stroke in the aftermath!

  13. I wonder if he is going to re-apply for British citizenship! But seriously his mind has obviously become deranged over this whole affair, and the impression that he gives me is of someone creating a huge smokescreen for whatever reason.

  14. He is trying to assuage his guilt.

He KNOWS he sent his son to death by putting a drunk man behind the wheel of the car.  Ok, so perhaps Al Fayed didn't know Paul was drunk, but Paul knew that he couldn't say No to Fayed...and thus, Fate was Sealed.

Fayed knows it was all his fault, and is trying to push it onto everyone, anyone else...

I could feel sorry for him, to live with this terrible guilt, but after y/day, it's hard to feel anything for him

  15. Al Fayed is only doing all this to get back at Britain cos he isn't allowed a British Passport!

I don't think this whole inquest thing should not be happening.

Diana should be laid to rest and stop keep dredging up the past!

  16. He is entitled to his opinion.

  17. I couldn't believe the rubbish he was coming up with. Private Eye are going to have a field day. It seems that everyone who mattered was in on the plot (except the Queen).

  18. Firstly, you need to understand that Dodi Al Fayed was his OWN son who died along with diana, so he is entitled to his opinion on how his son died so tragically.

Secondly, Diana had spent her last moments with the Al Fayeds, so it is possible that she told him something to do with a plot which was established by the royal family to kill Diana.

And by the way, why would you take offence when it has absolutely nothing to do with you in any way? are you related to Prince Phillip or something? His ravings aren't directed at you.

  19. mad as a bag of frogs, he is coming across as a publicity seeking buffoon and i wouldn't be surprised to see him appearing on next years im a celeb get me out of here....but he has lost his son so i do sympathise a bit

  20. I can't help  feeling for him.

I think he must suffer a lot, loosing a child it's never easy, in such surrial circumstances, particularly.

He must feel lonely and betraid, by the world.
