I am not form here and i am new in insurance (independent agent) how do i begin?

I know you would normally start with family and friend but i am from PA and just moved here to Louisiana so I have neither of those here with me. And I not only new to the industry but also I am an independent agent so I need to know how to begin building my client base. Please Help

start from today every weekend arrange a party in your home

or any hotel as per your pocket permit, give some momento to 10 new prospects and tell me i am joining in this insurance company because  i want to give you some very valuable thing, without me that is not possiable

Purchase some leads or cold call. Make sure your leads are scrubbed and abide by the rules of the Do Not Call List.

Best way is to target affluent neighborhoods, and knock door to door.

In insurance field a good agent need following point are most important 1. justice 2. good conduct with others 3. workhard second one first you collect the clinent base of famils, spouse family. friends from you and your spouse,another collect data base frome where your working it is first step, second step you follow up above database every day by day then you can became a good agent
