I have watched all of his fights and he is generally a lot taller and generally heavier looking than his opponents. In almost all of his fights he looks like he should be weight above them. Can someone that has actually seen his fights explain this to me? He must be cutting weight but it still looks uneven. Im not suggesting there is any malpractice going on here Im just wondering how it works.

  1. You weigh in the afternoon before the fight, and some fighters are better at reducing weight than others.

Under these circumstances, it is likely a combination of good matchmaking, and Khan's ability to temporarily shed weight.

  2. amir is big at the weight and has actually boxed at 140 early in his career. come fight night he is probely a lot heavier than the limit whereas his opponents being more natural at the weight tend not to be much bigger i would also expect amir to move up to light welter once he beats cambell whenever that might be
