I am now 7 weeks pregnant today but why...?

Question

I've heard your belly supposed to start growing a baby pouch on the lower tummy (below belly button). But why does my tummy start growing above my belly button? This is my 3rd pregnancy and to me it just looks odd to me. Because it starts at the top while I see others belly starts growing at the bottom and plus my upper tummy is more harder and at the bottom is still jiggly. Why is this?

its bloating. and since its your third pregnancy your muscles are more lax and going to show more bloating and eventually more baby sooner since you've been pregnant twice before.

This is most likely due to it being your 3rd pregnancy.

I had the same symptom, but I was told by my doctor that it is bloating. I believe that, because it's started to go down since then. I wish you the best of luck!

Some people grow high, some low. Not sure what the reason is but it happens. As you get bigger it will even out a bit. Also with this being your third pregnancy you are bound to show early.

I have heard that boys are lower and girls are up higher.

If this is your first girl then that could be it.

Other then that I would have to say it is just bloating.
