  1. Without knowing which thyroid medicine you're taking, it's tough to say but dessicated and artificial thyroid preparations don't show that as an adverse reaction.

    Too high a dose can result in insomnia, nervousness, diarrhea, heart problems (too fast, irregular rhythm), tremors, high blood pressure, and intolerance to heat.

    Too low a dose and you may be lethargic and gain weight.

    On the other hand, every person responds differently so it's possible that you could experience that problem but it doesn't look like anyone else has reported it.
